As we’re getting settled in our new house, we still have a lot to do. I need to take a moment and give my dear friends Lennaea Jorgenson-Sood and Gaurav Sood a huge shout out for the hard work they did getting us our “Dream”home. A house that had multiple offers. She took the time to build a strong relationship with the seller. Definitely made this the best experience possible. Everything seemed so easy and the only hard part was the actual labor of moving in with a baby. If anyone is looking for buying or selling, please consider the Sood’s. You won’t regret it.

After more than 16 years living in our home, we recently upgraded and were grateful to have Lennaea Sood and Gaurav Sood along for what turned out to be a rollercoaster of a ride. While my husband and I had been talking about selling and buying a larger home, we had no idea how to begin and we had the “our house won’t sell” attitude that was quickly changed.

It started with me casually messaging Lennaea asking to see a house in a neighborhood that we were interested in living in. We were looking at it, in person, the next day and both Gaurav and Lennaea were enthusiastic and ready to help set us down the path to success. Throughout this entire process, which took almost three full months, they were a text or phone call away and happy to answer questions and help guide us. Our first question was “How on earth do we make this happen” and they laid out several options and put us in contact with professionals in the financing industry to get us pre-approved and ready to make an offer if we found the right house.

Of course, if we were to buy a house, we would need to sell the one we were in because we didn’t want to rent it or keep it. We ended up deciding to do some remodel work prior to listing. We wanted to bring the house value up and make it more appealing to buyers based on guidance and careful consideration of the Soods. Both Gaurav and Lennaea addressed our questions, pointed out potential and ensured us that they could and would eventually find us a buyer. Not only did they find us one, they found us seven interested parties, in less than four days, that we reviewed and ultimately made the decision on the best and most solid offer. In fact, I am writing this testimony on the day we sign the closing papers so the new owner can take possession tomorrow!

Overall, the process of buying and selling has been stressful, however, 100% of that has been due to lenders. The only grounding force during the process was the Soods; continually helping to guide, recommend, and consult on every aspect that we may have had questions or pre-conceived notions about.
