Gaurav Sood & I met in 2010 when I was trying to bid for a house which was up on sale in Sammamish. The core values that he represented (especially what is right and what is wrong) & the professionalism impressed me. I decided to try him out as a seller’s agent when I was listing my house in 2012. We roughly had 15+ showing in 3 days with offers flowing in on the first day itself and the house was sold within 4 days, once we decided on which offer to accept.  In parallel (for my next home) he was negotiating with one of the toughest negotiators in the luxury home builders segment for my next home. The negotiation went on for 2-3 months. We had a challenging list of things that we needed as a buyer – premium lot, upgrades and a low purchase price. Other agents would have balked. Gaurav was persistent & at the end of a long-drawn negotiation cycle, he was able to get all three – premium & the most sunny lot (yep, we need that in Seattle!) upgrades like mud-room included and above all, we closed the house at one of the lowest purchase prices in that estate community. Any other agent would have walked away.

I like his commitment to his clients. He is available no matter what time of the day. Worst scenario, if he is with other clients, you can be assured that he will return your calls within 2-3 hours (at the max). When we put up the current estate home for sale, it took us 4 months since it was during offseason & a different market segment. Gaurav went above and beyond what he had to do as an agent to help close this deal. If some things didn’t work, he constantly figures out alternate things that needs to be done to help push your case. He doesn’t hesitate to call other agents & doesn’t get frustrated when dealing with extremely difficult & unreasonable personalities. He knows when he needs to back off and when he needs to get aggressive. All these characteristics built my trust in him over the years and I am extremely honored to know him, work with him and trust him to represent your most valuable asset – your HOME!
